LEEDS CASTLE

LEEDS CASTLE IN KENT REQUIRED A REBRANDING TO BETTER SUIT THEIR POSITIONING AS “THE LOVELIEST CASTLE IN THE WORLD”

Predominantly in the past their visual style has been very dark and masculine which didn’t reflect the personality.

I created a series of assets and visuals aimed
at repositioning the brand.

Leeds Castle was owned from the 1920s by Lady Baillie, who saved and transformed the castle to what it is today, I colourised and championed her within the visual, to coincide with Leeds Castles vision for the brand.

A full set of guidelines and assets were created for the Leeds Castle brand.

To develop the brand style, I created a series of frames, these would characterise the feel, architecture, flowers and decorations throughout the castle, but also could be used to focus on specific events and occasions.

One of the key elements within Leeds Castle is its extravagant decorations and patterns, I created repeating vector patterns based on these, to be used as wallpapers for the brands designs.
